The Course is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and also recognized by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, and Rajasthan.

Subject and Scope

Architecture is the imaginative blend of art and science in the design of environments for people. People need places to eat, work, live and play. Architects transform these needs into concepts and then develop the concepts into building images that can be constructed by others. These projects can be as small as an entrance way and as large as an entire college campus—and everything in between.

Succinctly put, an architect is a licensed professional with specialized skills who designs buildings and cityscapes and helps make real the unique vision of their clients and communities

Career Opportunities

The role of an architect is not just to design buildings.
Architects work in architectural firms or accept positions with government, corporations or institutions. Some architects become highly specialized; others remain generalists in the profession, working on all facets of a project.
In India there is vast scope of work for Architects both in public sector and private sector. About 46% of registered Architects in India have their own practice. Rests are employed in private and public sector.
The architecture department offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. The undergraduate Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program leads to a five year accredited "first professional degree".

Course Duration: Five Years Full Time

Student Intake: 60 students

Eligibility

10+2 (PCM) with minimum 50% marks through counseling based on entrance test/ qualifying exam.

Hostel Fees:

The hostel blocks for girls and boys are separately located on the campus with a Common mess. There are two categories of Rooms
Rs. 45,000/- per year inclusive of boarding and lodging for two candidate per room.
Rs. 36, 000/- per year inclusive of boarding and lodging for three candidate per room.

Application Procedure:

The aspiring candidates need to apply in prescribed application form, which is available at the Institute on payment of Rs 500/- only in cash. Forms can also be downloaded from the Institute’s website (www.bitsrcedu.org) and submitted along with Rs. 550/- only in cash or DD drawn in favour of “Buddha Group of Institution" payable at Udaipur. The application form duly filled is to be submitted at the address of the institute.
